Waiheke Homes – Local Insight – Global Reach

our people

Tobias Roebuck-Ward

Tobias Roebuck-Ward is a property marketing consultant and co-owner of Waiheke Homes, bringing extensive experience, local knowledge and a proven track record to the Waiheke Island property market.

Together, the team at Waiheke Homes has transacted more than $300 million in property sales, with Tobias personally responsible for over $150 million in sales, including a significant number of properties sold discreetly or entirely off market, without the need for a formal marketing campaign.

For Tobias, successful real estate is as much about people and relationships as it is about property. Over the years he has built an extensive database of buyers throughout New Zealand and around the world, connecting Waiheke property with purchasers from Colorado, London, Singapore, Australia, New York and beyond.

Being independent and locally owned does not mean compromising on reach. Waiheke Homes guarantees the same global exposure available through any other real estate office, while offering something much harder to replicate: genuine local knowledge, an established international buyer network and a highly personal approach to every campaign.

Tobias understands that your home is likely to be one of your most significant assets. His approach combines current market intelligence, considered marketing, strong negotiation and an understanding of how to position a property to achieve the best possible outcome.

Whether a property is launched through a full market campaign, introduced quietly to qualified buyers, or sold completely off market, the strategy is tailored to the property and the people involved rather than following a one size fits all formula.

Entrusting Tobias with the sale of your home is a responsibility he takes seriously. His role is simple: to understand what makes your property special, put it in front of the right people, negotiate fiercely on your behalf and make sure no opportunity is left unexplored.

Paul feels very privileged to live and work on Waiheke, and loves to help other people achieve their goals on the island. He prides himself in providing an extremely high level of service, but most importantly completely honest service.

Sune Farrimond

Sune comes to real estate with over 20 years of hands on residential development experience, which means he understands property from the inside out. From land and design through to build, finish and resale, he knows what truly creates value and how to see potential that others might miss.

After eight years living on Waiheke, Sune knows the island in a way that only comes from being part of it. He understands the feel of each area, the lifestyle people are buying into, and the small details that make one home very different from the next.

His commitment to the community runs deep. For more than six years Sune has volunteered with the Waiheke Fire Brigade, helping protect homes, people and the natural environment we all love. It is a role built on trust, teamwork and showing up when it counts, and those same values shape how he works with his clients.

As a father, Sune brings a natural sense of care and perspective to everything he does. He knows that homes are not just transactions, they are where life happens, and that understanding sits at the heart of how he supports people through buying and selling.

Energetic, creative and quietly driven, Sune is known for finding smart, out of the box ways to bring deals together. He stays calm under pressure, looks for solutions, and brings a positive momentum to every campaign.

We are genuinely excited to have him as part of Waiheke Homes. Sune is warm, capable and deeply invested in this island, and we are proud to have him representing our clients and our community.

Hannah Milward

Before moving into property, Hannah worked closely with individuals and families navigating complex and often emotionally charged life decisions. That background means she understands how stressful major transitions can be — and how important it is to feel genuinely heard, clearly informed, and never rushed.

Alongside her clinical experience, Hannah is trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), supporting her ability to listen deeply, communicate clearly, and guide people through decisions in a way that aligns with their values and priorities.

Hannah also brings strong business development and commercial experience from her work with Property Compliance Monitor (PCM) — a property management and compliance platform used by large property portfolio holders, including government housing providers across New Zealand. Working in this environment gave her exposure to complex portfolios, regulatory frameworks, and high-stakes decision-making, and strengthened her ability to translate complexity into clarity.

Having lived in Onetangi for three years, and now residing in Orapiu, Hannah loves sharing the magic of the quiet and pristine parts of Waiheke. Now part of the team at Waiheke Homes, Hannah supports clients through key life stages — whether buying, selling, downsizing, or planning ahead. Her approach is transparent, low-pressure, and grounded in genuine care for both wellbeing and long-term outcomes.

Based on Waiheke Island, Hannah values community, trust, and long-term relationships, and welcomes honest, no-obligation conversations about what’s right for each client.

Jess Healy

With 18 years of sales and marketing experience working for the world’s largest beauty company, Jess brings world-class professionalism, strategic thinking and exceptional client care to every property she represents.

Originally trained as a hairdresser, she built her career on connection, trust and understanding people — skills that naturally evolved into a successful career in sales and leadership. Her background gives her a unique ability to listen deeply, communicate clearly and guide clients with confidence through important decisions.

An island local for the past eight years, Jess is deeply embedded in the Waiheke community. She is a proud mum of two and is married to a local builder — meaning she understands homes not just from a sales perspective, but from the inside out. Having personally lived through multiple renovations, she brings practical insight, design awareness and genuine empathy to buyers and sellers navigating property improvements or new builds.

Jess is also the founder of the Grow Woman’s Movement, a local small business focused on empowering and connecting women — a reflection of her leadership, drive and commitment to helping others thrive.

Community is at the heart of everything she does. From coaching and managing local rugby teams to serving as Chair of the P&C, she is hands-on, involved and passionate about giving back.

Grounded, energetic and highly experienced, Jess combines big-brand expertise with authentic island values — making her a trusted partner for your next move on Waiheke.
